Each time 1 SEEDS token is minted, 1 $PAPPLE gets “frozen” to back the created SEEDS token. Everyone can Convert $PAPPLE into SEEDS at any time, and this process is immediate.

SEEDS: A Unique Utility Token

SEEDS, serving as $PAPPLE escrowed Token, introduces additional utility and value to TropicalSwap’s ecosystem.

Users mint SEEDS by locking $PAPPLE on a 1:1 ratio, effectively “freezing” $PAPPLE to back the newly created SEEDS tokens. This process highlights the seamless conversion from $PAPPLE to SEEDS and introduces a unique redemption mechanism.

Users can convert their SEEDS back into $PAPPLE through a vesting process ranging from 15 days to a maximum of 6 months.

Opting for the minimum vesting period incurs a 50% malus, which will burn the forfeited SEEDS/PAPPLE automatically, while selecting a six-month vesting period allows for a 100% conversion rate, with the malus percentage decreasing proportionally for longer vesting periods.

Utilities and Incentives of SEEDS

SEEDS tokens serve multiple purposes within the TropicalSwap ecosystem:

• Real Yield: SEEDS holders will receive 0.05% of earnings from swap fees, directly rewarding them for their participation within the ecosystem.

• Incentivized Participation: SEEDS acts as the primary reward token for participating in Farms, offering users various ways to earn and grow their holdings.

• Launchpad Allocation: Holding SEEDS is essential for participating in new token allocations through the TropicalSwap Launchpad, tying the utility token directly to the growth and expansion of the ecosystem.

• Pools will require staking SEEDS to earn new tokens.

• Governance and Community Proposals: In the future, SEEDS holders will have the opportunity to vote on community proposals, integrating a layer of decentralized governance into the platform.

• Boosted Farms: Another future utility for SEEDS involves its requirement to activate Boosted Farms, further incentivizing users to hold and utilize SEEDS within the ecosystem.
